Remember, the one Bush/Rove trademark is to not to fire till you see the whites of their eyes. Save your powder till it really, really counts.

Well, you are right, but like I've been telling people around here, election cycles ebb and flow, and NONE of the defeatist crap amounted to anything in May or June or even July or August. If you recall the May that John Kerry had in 2004, it was pretty good, and look where he ended up.
I expect another couple of fantastic weeks of "mojo" before the 2006 election cycle, no doubt timed just right.

When was it, about 2 months ago, when the WH had a 'shake up' and Rove was relieved of 'other duties' other than guru-ing?
That shake-up seems to be reaping rewards.
One of Bush's quips at the Washington Press Corps Dinner (Steve Corbert bombing) was he was relieved because he survived the WH shake-up. lol

Remember, the one Bush/Rove trademark is to not to fire till you see the whites of their eyes. Save your powder till it really, really counts. Once was; but, it is no secret now that I am no Bush fan any longer (disclaimer announced). But, every time some kind of luck happens that might, in some round-about way be in Bush's favor, that was purely an accident in most incidents, the Bushbots come out and claim that Bush/Rove is all of a sudden some mastermind that planned this from the start and executed it perfectly. Yeah right! Listen to a Bush speech and let me know if he could even mastermind ironing his underwear.
