I think the offer to Murtha to come on FR to answer questions is a good idea, I doubt he would accept the offer.

Perhaps you could also offer him option #2, To answer a prepared list of questions from FR members that would be screened to not be personal attacks on the slug, but ones he could answer if he has any guts at all.

Example....Murtha, Many say that you have convicted our Marines with your words before they have had a trial to present a defense, how do you reply to those critics of your actions?

Something along those lines. They could be mailed to his office and he could mail his answers back.
