Well, what your saying is all great in theory, but it falls apart in reality. It's not a matter of disipline or propriety, but simply human nature and having been there, I don't honestly see anything wrong with killing a downed or dying enemy.

Okay, then let me ask you (or anyone else) -- do our military forces allow that? Or do they prosecute anyone found to kill someone after captured and secured (as a prisoner)?
I didn't realize that our military allowed that. And if they do allow it -- then why is there anyone complaining about our military killing anyone?
What you're saying doesn't make sense if this is something that our military allows -- because then no one would have any complaint about it.
Do you see what I mean? Can someone clarify that?
