Even if true. would someone who survived two 500 pound bombs worry much about a few punches.

Does Newsday have a journalism detector in the office? This story is awful thin.

His account could not be independently verified. But it fits the MSM template, so they run with it.

LOLOL......gotta have those folks doing their best to show they weren't the ones who tipped off the coaltion.
I noticed the requisite teddy bear in the rubble. Similar to the teddy bear found in the rubble in Afghanistan a while back.

Maggot slime liar Media (MSM). They print a story with one non credible source. But, they had 125 Swift Boat veterans and would not print there version of Kerry's Vietnam record because they were not credible. Stinking rotten lieing MSM.

The story shows the strategy of the islamofascists, repeated claims of 'atrocities', every time they take a hit.
The Haditha saga is now merging with that of Zarqawi's death. Its interesting how its all fusing together, and how history is repeating, with the Goebbelesque strategy of propaganda being used by enemy.

A great campaign issue for the Dems. Vote for us, Murtha becomes majority leader. He'll hold hearings into the beating of a KOS, DU hero.

A likely lie... but on behalf of the Berg boy, and the others who were kidnapped, beaten, and beheaded, I hope it's true.

This is really poor journalism!
Leaving out really needed details...WHAT WAS THE COLOR OF THE "ARAB ROBE" ?
Yeesh. This MSM media just can not get the important stuff straight.
To: tlb
Someone posted another article about the Arab propensity to lie. It's remarkable how much deception is part of their culture.
It's obvious this is BS - you wouldn't want to kill a guy who's on the edge and may have information you could use.
To: tlb
I think I just heard about this on FOX news...their guy in Iraq is working on the story- but can't find anyone to verify it..said it's unlikely.
Making it up as they go along- they're nuts.

This is one of the reasons why I do not believe the Marines did what they were accused of doing in Haditha. This is nothing new, Iraqis have tried this stuff before saying that women and children were killed in coalition strikes and when investigated it wasn´t true. Now the MSM and the Demwits will run with this story because they cannot stand to see anything good come out of Iraq.

Who cares? If he were beaten to death, I could live with it. These animals are lacking in honor - there is no need to extend to them humane feelings and compassion is out of place when considering what to do to a bloodthirsty monster.

U.S. troops arriving on the scene wrapped the man's head in an Arab robe and began beating him, said the local man, who refused to give his name or show his face to the camera. His account could not be independently verified. Another famous Stone-age Press "source". Who to believe the 25 soldiers or a terrorist?
