Unfortunately, many of the 9/11 widows have personalized the attack, as if the country weren't attacked, just their husbands. They've also politicized the event and used it to bash Bush and his policies. Thank God the Pearl Harbor widows didn't feel that way.

Hmmm, I smell a neocon in our midst.

Absolutely spot on! Lady Ann ratchets up the terms of the debate, and the moonbots go even more postal!
Smoke them out of their accursed dens, Dame Coulter!
(I'm a progressive! Don't you dare criticize me!!)

Tell Mr. O'really that I no longer watch his show. Haven't for some time, nor will I okay?
To: Yankee
O'Reilly's main point is his superiority to Ann Coulter. He sang his own praises as a "smart fighter" and even compared clips of Ann on the Today Show with his appearance on Letterman. O'Reilly is an insufferable bore. Ann Coulter is braver and smarter than he could ever hope to be.

All the right faux-conservatives are joining with their liberal comrades to whine, complain, and express mock horror over simple, turthful observations by sharp-eyed Ann Coulter.Exhibit A:

Ann tells the truth and a lot of people, Freepers included, don't like to hear the truth. I happen to agree with Ann 100% after watching their outbursts during the hearings and never blaming Gorelick and the wall.

Exactly...and these widows can spew anything they like and feel that they have immunity to be confronted with what they say...

"Now I KNOW Coulter has the moral high ground. All the right faux-conservatives are joining with their liberal comrades to whine, complain, and express mock horror over simple, turthful observations by sharp-eyed Ann Coulter."
I agree.

Sorry, I don't agree that she should be more temperate.
Ann's a pundit, not an elected official.
She's under no obligation to pull her punches.
I revel in seeing someone on our side "putting the boot in" to those liberal icons.
Ann is 100% dead on about the left trotting out an endless parade of "victims" to peddle their socialist nostrums and kook theories, prepared to label anyone who disagrees as uncaring, unfeeling monsters.
(Oh, and by the way, I suppose it's just "simple coincidence" that most of these "victims" so often happen to be "disillusioned former Republicans that voted for Bush twice!")
It's time someone called a spade a spade.

I agree with Ann 100% also.
To: Past Your Eyes
But I am with JasonC in that there comes a time when one has had enough of the bullship and just says "screw temperate".
Like -- for example -- becoming a more SAVAGE nation?

Don't apologise. We see things differently is all. If Ann were my daughter and she made statements that were purely fantasy and conjecture regarding the husbands of these lefty ladies divorcing them, I'd castigate my daughter for acting like a lefty lady.
Ann always steps in it because she doesn't stick to the facts at hand, she lets hyperbole and conjecture be the enemy of the good that she writes. In my view, a pity.
