Sen. Biden's Son Seeks Office in Delaware (Dumb Jr.)

DOVER, Del. (AP) - June 4, 2006 - Beau Biden's campaign for attorney general is under way.

Following Delaware tradition, the son of Senator Joe Biden scheduled campaign stops in all three counties. He started this morning at the Old Sussex County Courthouse in Georgetown – accompanied by his famous dad. In prepared remarks, Biden said the jurisdiction of Delaware's Department of Justice is one of the most powerful and broad of any attorney general's office in the country.

He says that power must be used with diligence, wisdom and fairness.

Biden, a Democrat, says if elected, he'll establish a child predator unit of trained investigators and prosecutors to track down Internet pedophiles.

Biden has worked as a federal prosecutor and is now in private practice in Wilmington.

One of the beauties of our system. If they so choose, voters can elect any idiot to office.

Watch out for this guy to use the Delaware AG position much as Eliot Sptizer has done in NY.

Good looking guy, though not in a gay way. He can translate that into political capital like JFK and RFK.

He'd better hurry, though, cause when he ages, he's going to look like his old man, and that ain't pretty. Heck, look what old age did to Teddy Kennendy.

Sure he has his Dad's name, but did he inherit Joe's plagiarizing skills?

But when he begins his first stump speech with "Four score and seven years ago....." his balloon might deflate.

Yep, and let's face it. The Biden Delaware koolaide, uh, er, I mean punch is served regularly enough to the voters that they've become punch drunk and will elect him readily.

Well, let's bring Jr. into the family business paid by the taxpayers. It doesn't matter if he suited to the job at all.

By eerie coincidence, Senator Biden's son was inspired to enter politics after hearing a couple particularly inspiring speeches from Neil Kinnock's politician son.

Democrats prefer to whine only about Republican political families. Expect this guy to be ignored.

Well, the father is known for not doing his own work, so who knows whose skills this kid inherited.
