This is simply not true. That is all I am going to say to you, but you are wrong about the laws not being better.
Actually, you can't, so I guess I'll be waiting a long time, for you to "prove" your dubious statement.
I guess we gave it a pass at the time, and now we are still debationg it again. AS for the link, I think concern that I have seen is exaggerated. I do not think people in any of the countries want more integration of the societies. HOwever, the border cooperation is crucial.
"This is simply not true. That is all I am going to say to you, but you are wrong about the laws not being better."
The laws are the same. The lack of enforcement is also the same. None of this started with this President, but it hasn't ended with him either.
Rattle, rattle, rattle.
You bots are funny.
Which talking points are you talking about?

Your delusions, thank goodness, are NOT catching. :-)
He also pushed through single handedly the Late Term Abortion Bill over the advice of his advisers. What did Reagan get passed on abortion again??? Oh yeah, nothing.

What delusions? That Atta and his boys were here illegally?
"He also pushed through single handedly the Late Term Abortion Bill over the advice of his advisers. What did Reagan get passed on abortion again??? Oh yeah, nothing."
The President deserves credit for this, tax cuts, recognizing that the WOT was a WAR (despite the "religion of peace" stuff), and most of his judicial appointments.
Thanks for those links. Facts bother both bots and lefties.
His inability to speak coherently may be annoying, but it's this wish to abolish our country in favor of a merged state with Mexico that's downright loathsome.
"George W. Bush is renowned for his consistent ability to mangle a phrase."
I don't believe Jefferson was all that great a public speaker, either.
We must have missed that speech, please post it for us.

Gladly.
We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture. Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende. For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America. As I speak, we are celebrating the success of democracy in Mexico. George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000. |
Here is an excerpt of a good critique of that speech:
In equating our intimate historic bonds to our mother country and to Canada with our ties to Mexico, W. shows a staggering ignorance of the civilizational facts of life. The reason we are so close to Britain and Canada is that we share with them a common historical culture, language, literature, and legal system, as well as similar standards of behavior, expectations of public officials, and so on. Your like Liberals with your Doom and Gloom 24/7. What is it like to live in a black world?

What does that mean to you? Does your chest swell with pride when you read Bush's words praise the change of America to another Latin country?
Oh, gee, let's see....which DNC talking points? The one about how President Bush can't talk at all well.
BTW, you don't "rattle" anything other than your three working brain cells. :-)
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn...................
