Really interesting FNS round table today. It was better than many others we've seen in the past. Instead of only assigning blame they tended to analyze events from their perspective on issues.
Susan Page and Juan Williams, both, admitted the Democrats want to win so bad that it effects everything they are saying or claiming to stand for. The clear implication is "say anything as long as you win" mentality within the Democrat party. By extension, I hope it will be obvious Democrats cannot be relied upon for truthful leadership. They also admitted, in a round about way, that Iraq is a political issue to be used to win upcoming elections. No mention of the war on terror to be a real war or serious issue today. That omission alone is worth noting.
On Iran, all made comments based on their political persuasion and philosophy, which was interesting because is shows how the left and right see the same set of facts but draw different conclusions, as well as what is important and what is not. Kristol was even good as he showed what the Neocon goals are and Williams was okay as he talked about how this is being used for US politics, as opposed to finding a longterm solution.
