Don't get me started on the totally biased reporting of our economic situation. Ever since Bush was first elected the media have used their influence to talk down our economy.

Even while reporting a 4.6% unemployment rate, the next word in every report is "but" followed by some number that has moved in a negative direction. As in: but jobs increased by only x amount instead of the anticipated y amount.

I ask, if there are only 4.6% of the job force looking for work, and there are more people working in America than at any time in our history, where are the new jobs to come from. The two numbers can not both proceed in a positive [positive meaning better] direction indefinitely.

This morning some NTY babe was on C-SPAN, and a caller pointed that out to her.

I almost wanted to smack my TV... she still acted the fool "yeah it really is odd that Bush does not get more credit, becuase the economy really is quite good"
