I'm sure there are a few folks who have spent decades in prison before they were cleared who might disagree with you.
#1. I clearly said that I'm talking about cases that I've followed and heard of, not some unknown case from 20-30 years ago before court cases became media fodder.
#2. Plenty of legal analysts have said they think this is one of the worst cases of prosecutorial misconduct they've ever seen, and those of us following the case closely agree with them. For once.
#3. There are some innocent people in prison and DNA has cleared them; since DNA wasn't available years ago and there was evidence pointing to their guilty, I don't think you can quite compare the Duke lacrosse case to those older cases.
