What a laugh. So he's going to talk about himself, huh? Get a clue, Dodd. People don't want to hear politicians talk about themselves. They want to hear politicians talk about the VOTERS and what they can do for them. If this is a sample of Dodd's savvy, he's already outta the race.

Yes, but also a personality.
It never ceases to amaze me how candidates like Dodd can even think that their personalities can attract money and votes - nation wide. No one that is that far to the left has a chance in hell - well, perhaps actually in hell.

LOL. Dementia Senatorum is a common mental illness in DC which causes every Senator to see himself as the next president, despite all evidence to the contrary. Under it's influence he is able to ignore the fact that no Senator has been elected president in 46 years and that his views are out of touch with mainstream America, and convince himself that the country is clamoring for his great leadership.

Dodd would make an excellent nominee from the Democrat (aka Jackass) Party.

I heard Dodd on "Anus in the Morning" MSNBC show this morning say that "there is no doubt that oil companies are gouging" to paraphrase him.
He claims that oil companies purposely shut down refineries just to jack up the price.
You talk about balls! These guys grandly get away with causing the problem, then successfully deflect blame.
Of course, the idiots in the North East think he is just fabulous.

What's that, sonny? Dodd needs money to shop at the Sharper Image?
Well, let him work for it like I had to back in the Depression, well we picked up bottles for the deposits, and shopped at second-hand stores instead the expensive shops on Fifth Ave! And, another thing, . . .
Oh, what? Oh, that's different then.
Nevermind.

All he needs is to lose 50 pounds, get 20 years younger, have a new voting record, and find something as an issue.

"I'm going to go out and talk about myself," Dodd said.I'm reminded of Erasmus' "In Praise of Folly":
"...what is more fitting that Folly should be the trumpet of her own praise, and dance after her own pipe?"

The senator conceded fundraising will be a "big question" for his candidacy. Didn't Forbes Magazine recently proclaim that Fidel Castro had a net worth of around $900 million? Dodd could easily talk his comrade out of a few megabucks under the table to get his campaign warchest off to a good start, couldn't he? Wouldn't even need to bother with those pesky FEC forms. Add in a few more from his Sandinista buddies, and he wouldn't even need to annoy any other banana republic honchos or limousine leftists with his fundraising requests...

Nonstarter, Dodd floats this crap every 4 years.
Hell, even the losers (Who vote for him) here in Connecticut think he's a joke.
