Posting to clarify only.
On one typing test I took, I was so nervous that I typed over 100 words a minute; I had something like two errors, so the total came out at 100 wpm.
One big key that my typing teacher jammed into our minds is to learn where the keys are, practice practice practice and DO NOT EVER LOOK AT THE KEYBOARD. We got marked down after a certain point in class if she caught us looking at the keys.
