Some people get banned for what may be a violation of posting guidelines while others get away with it
Though it may seem that way from outside I have been in the position of moderating a political forum in the past and I will tell you from my experience it is not at all an easy endeavor. No matter what a MOD does or does not do you have to accept it is their job to do and not yours. If you so disagree with the way they make their decisions or the decisions themselves then you indeed have a choice.
That choice is to seek out another forum, or start one yourself.
I know that is the most valid and productive way forward because that is what I did.
Trust me FRiend, moderating is a hard job and the last thing a mod will put up with is someone monday morning quarterbacking their very hard decisions.
Freedom of choice and respecting that some choices are not yours to make is the very heart of being a good conservative IMHO.

I second that. FReepers will never now how many times the mods have warned me, backed me off, told me what's what, or to knock it off. They just assume that it never happens. But it does.

You seem to have completely missed the point of this very thread, FRiend.

Amazing that some freepers need an explanation as to the difficulties and complexities that go with moderating a political forum.
You did a good job describing your experience.
