I liked the wall in the first King Kong movie best. Even the one in the second movie wasn't bad.

But this last movie was plain ridiculous.

Comparing a poll of "adults" to previous polls of voters doesn't do that.

Haven't most of these polls done just that..... As I said your mileage differs. People besides voters have opinions. Now if you were trying to project and election then probable voters would be more critical.

So many trolls, so little time. Enjoy your time while it lasts.

Really?

Just because a lot of us here on FR aren't blindly following the Republican Party down the sewer on this issue doesn't make us DU'ers or globalists or whatever other adjectives you want to use.

We're stating our opinions on the subject which this site allows us to do, courtesy of Mr. Jim Robinson. If you disagree with the viewpoint, that's ok, but to resort to namecalling because you disagree is DU like.

I am sick and tired of being told to vote Pubby because "...it's better than Nancy Pelosi, et al." I voted Republican last election because I wanted continuity in the administration to finish the war, to make permanent the tax cuts, to reign in federal spending, to enforce our immigration laws. So far two out of four. And my jury is still out on how I'm going to vote, if at all. So call me a traitor to the cause, but at least I'm making up my own mind, not having it made up for me.

The Army NG going to the border is only temporary, President Bush is concerned about upsetting his hermano Vicente and has sent word to him to "assuage his concerns about militarizing the border."

So get off your high horse about this. A lot of new and old FReepers are PISSED about this issue and we are conservatives as well. We just don't dance to the tune of the pied piper thank you very much.

im thinking the speech tonight will not help, as Bush will not be announcing the building of a wall.

well placing troops on the border is a start and if you read between the lines of some of the remarks it appears that the NG "may" be constructing fencing...remains to be seen.

but I've been saying for years the NG and other military could be doing their training at the borders.

Almost every poll was within a point or two of the final results in 2004, so no one was particularly accurate or inaccurate. Perfect accuracy is impossible in polling and only results from luck.

In 2000, however, polls were all over the map.
