Bush set for immigration speech
WRIC News ^ | 5-14-06 | AP

BUSH SET FOR IMMIGRATION SPEECH

WHITE HOUSE President Bush is getting set for a prime-time speech on
immigration tomorrow night.

Aides note the 8 p-m, Eastern Time, speech will be the president's first from the Oval Office that does not involve Iraq and the war on terrorism. And they say that reflects Bush's
"passion" on immigration.

He's speaking as the Senate is poised to clear a compromise measure including his idea for a guest worker program. However, a rival House bill is limited to a border crackdown, and meshing the two won't be easy.

Stand Up For America !

"We have room for but one flag, the American flag...
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...
And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I will finish the research tonight and then I will post the names of the Caucus along with what I know and their contacts and I would suggest this be our continuous contact list along with the other's in the House we have a chance with, there are 97 caucus members so of the 200+ that voted yes on HR4437 almost 1/2 were caucus members

Any wonder, Tricky Dick Turban is one of your senators. We're lucky to have John McInsane (double yuk) here in Arizona. The nastyness is equally spread out. The big difference is, the good people, and legislature of Arizona, are working very hard to pass laws to protect tax dollars, from illegal immigrants using our social services. Except for jails - via Sheriff Arpaio). We have a governor though, that needs a pink slip badly, come November. Stay tuned!

Mexico’s foreign minister, Jorge Castañeda, echoing Fox’s demands for legalization and more guest workers, told reporters[in June 2001], “It’s the whole enchilada or nothing.”

A couple of years later, Jorge lost his job and Ernesto Derbez became Foreign Minister, declaring: "...if the whole enchilada is not possible, then we can divide it into small ‘enchiladitas’ ....and that for me is the central issue now, that is to find what size the enchiladitas can be to advance the process.”

This is how I obtained my user name.

Armored cars selling at record rate

Snip: Latin America, including Central America and Mexico, accounts for about half the carmakers' global market for armored vehicles, according to an internal Ford market study provided by Vaughn. The region is also the fastest-growing market, along with the Middle East, with a 7 percent share, and Asia, with 2 percent.

Forget Hummers, try armor plating

Snip: "The guys in Mexico City aren't worried about Osama jumping out from a bush in front of the Hilton," Cooley says.

US Border Patrol

Snip: They guard the 6,000 miles of our border with one tenth as many people as are in the New York City police department.

More than 1,000 have been killed or wounded protecting America.

US Border Patrol Moment

Snip: Here's a bullet hole in his steel reinforced armored vest.He will not give YOU a chance to do this... to him.

Local 2544 - Border Patrol Agents

Snippets:

Geez, there sure are a lot of "speeders" coming across the border illegally. Maybe we should start using "speed bumps" to slow them down. Radar guns anyone? Pay a small fine and get your citizenship here. This is just more insanity from a White House so out of touch with the average American that we're beginning to think they should move to Mexico City so they'll be closer to their real constituents. They seem more interested in appeasing the "FOX" and his folks than they do representing the people who put them in office (that would be us dumb Americans who want the invasion stopped).

Senator Specter, at the last minute, put a clause in the Senate's shameful immigration bill that forces the United States government to "consult" with Mexico prior to planning or building any fences or barriers on our border. Not on Mexico's border, but yes, on United States soil. We can't wait to see this fencing project after the "consultations" take place. Maybe they can even appoint "Congressman" Raul Grijalva to lead the "consultations" for the United States of America. This is the same Mexican government who sends millions of their citizens here illegally to steal jobs and send billions of dollars back to Mexico. This is the same Mexican government whose soldiers smuggle drugs and shoot at Border Patrol agents. This is the same Mexican government that is corrupt to the core. This is the same Mexican government that uses its consular officers to sue the United States government. Great move Specter. Talk about the "FOX" guarding the henhouse.

Every day that President Bush and the Senate hold real border security hostage to their misguided amnesty program, thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens continue to flood into the country. Make no mistake, most of them get by us. We are losing this war, and it's not even close. Contact your senators and congressmen now. Tell them to secure the border and tell them to reject amnesty programs (so called "guest-worker"). The Congress "gets it". The American people "get it". Shut the border down to illegal crossings, then start hammering the greedy employers who hire them. Start deporting, we repeat, deporting, the illegal aliens who are here in violation of law. It may take years, but you don't build a house overnight. It's not complicated folks. Promising more AMNESTY is not going to dissuade anyone from coming here. Rewarding the lawbreakers with amesty is not going to solve anything. It just demonstrates that there are rewards for breaking our laws. The Congress should continue to REJECT Bush's calls for amnesty and should continue to stick up for the American people who want this problem stopped now, without AMNESTY provisions.

According to Ted Kennedy, Americans support amnesty for illegal aliens (he calls it "earned citizenship", which means you break laws to "earn" your citizenship). Hey Teddy, we are Americans, and we don't support anything you're doing. You are a disgrace. Make sure you count us out when you lie to everyone about the "broad support" your amnesty plan enjoys.

This Local has nothing to do with any alleged management directives to report the location of the Minutemen volunteers to the Mexican government. Our position on the Mexican government and the Mexican military is very clear. They are corrupt, their soldiers shoot at us, they smuggle drugs, they help illegal aliens invade this country by the millions, they are not to be trusted, and they should have ZERO input into the internal policies of the United States of America. We have received a lot of e-mail on this issue. Rank-and-file Border Patrol agents have been angry for years about the Mexican Consulate invading our work stations, demanding interviews with prisoners, and basically being given free reign to do whatever they want. It's been a standing joke for years that we should "check with the Mexican Consulate" to see if they approve before we do anything. Their influence on our politicians and upper managers is absolutely disgraceful.

05-10-06 Update: Two congressmen have now called for an investigation, and management can't get their stories straight (the pre-programmed Agency "spokespersons" evidently weren't all programmed with the same "information" before they were turned loose on the media to straighten all this out. A massive re-programming of the spokespersons is almost certainly taking place at this time). Read an article quoting former Tucson Sector agent Scott James here (we can verify that he did, in fact, quit in complete "disgust" when he left here some months ago).

Arizona passes border law criminalizing illegal aliens

Arizona lawmakers have approved legislation that would criminalize the presence of illegal aliens and seeks to cut off job opportunities that attract illegal border crossers.
"The House and Senate may not get anything done. So we have an obligation to respond, since this is not just a national border [that's being compromised], it's the Arizona border," said state Rep. Russell Pearce, lead sponsor of the bill that passed the Legislature Thursday.
The bill, which calls for revoking business licenses for repeatedly hiring known illegal aliens and bars illegals from some state services including child care and adult education, has passed both chambers of the Republican-controlled Legislature, but is expected to be vetoed by Gov. Janet Napolitano, a Democrat,
Mrs. Napolitano earlier vetoed a bill that would have expanded the state's trespassing statutes to allow the arrest of illegal aliens who wind up there. She has vowed to veto any further measures that would have this same effect.
"Shame on her if she does veto it," said Mr. Pearce yesterday, adding it is the first time the Legislature has passed a tough immigration-reform law and provided money to enforce it.
"People are fed up, and this would take jobs away from illegals and the free stuff they are now getting."

The Senate's amnesty pill

On Thursday, by a vote of 62-36, the Senate passed a reckless immigration bill which, among other things, grants amnesty to the estimated 11 million illegal aliens already in the country; paves the way for a projected 66 million additional immigrants by 2026; creates a temporary-worker program which Sen. Jim DeMint rightly called "neither temporary nor work-based"; allows illegals to enjoy Social Security and tax-credit benefits for illegal labor; lacks the tougher border controls proposed by Sen. Johnny Isakson; cuts by nearly half the 700-mile barrier the House proposed for the southern border; guts what little immigration-enforcement powers local police might wield; increases long-term federal spending by an estimated $30 billion or more; and might even require consultation with Mexico to construct barriers along the border. If this isn't immigration abdication, we don't know what is.

It’s not just the New York Times, of course. Mickey Kaus catches his hometown paper engaged in the same garbage and calls them on it. Loudly. And the Chicago Tribune’s blog reports that mean old Jim Sensenbrenner is dissing the Senate. He gots to RECOGNIZE.
