Governor Rutabaga (Richardson) is also running for re-election. He or his party has been involved in so many scandals that I have stopped posting articles about them. A federal jury starts deliberation on Monday for 20+ charges of bribery and corruption against the state treasurer, one of the Public Regulation Commissioners is likely to face similar charges. Richardson has created lots of new illegal positions for his political friends, so many that even some of the more responsible Dems have complained publicly (they are generally punished by Fat Bill vetoing needed projects for their districts). And the paper is always full of articles about his trips to Las Vegas for boxing bouts or other entertainment (when questioned about these or contributions from recently indicted lobbyists, Richardson pays for the trips or has the donations sent to charity). Richardson is as dirty as Clinton -- beware of MSM articles touting his fiscal responsibility. He is spending money faster and with new programs and projects than any other governor. His tax reductions (there have been some) are offset with other taxes or revenues from other areas. We are just lucky our oil and gas sectors are doing so well (though King Bill continually joins with the enviros to prohibit drilling in some very promising areas and drafts new regulations so restrictive so as to make drilling prohibitive even if they get permits from the Feds).

I am going to go read a book.

What an utterly marvelous idea. I am going to go read too. Eventually sanity will come back here :-)

"If you have a touchtone phone...listen carefully to the menu"..

If you are planning an attack - press one.

If you are simply a mole waiting to attack - press two.

If you are at the controls of an aircraft - press three.

To talk to the DNC - press four.

Governor Rutabaga been planning his run for the Presidency since he was Congressman, and learned at the hand of the Liar in Chief and his Liar First Lady in Chief. He figures if horribly crooked and flawed People like his former bosses could be Co- President then why not him.

The funny thing is, the dem-controlled NM state government is imploding around Rutie's ears. Nearly every day the local paper, (which is not conservative by any means) has ANOTHER front page article about ANOTHER state official that has been caught with his/her hand in the cookie jar, and this morning there was an expose on the free flights provided to Rutie on a corporate jet owned by a maker of spitless tobacco who was lobbying the state....bet Rutie is spittin' mad about this one, lol.

What is your solution? Or do you have one?

My solution is to secure our borders first including building physical barriers where required, and increase the resources dramatically for sensors, cameras, drones and BP agents. When you have a water pipe break in the basement, the first thing you do is shut off the water. Then you can decide how to handle the water damage. I have a detailed solution to what needs to be done concerning the 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants here, but I won't bore you with it now.

Do you propose we adopt all 107 million of their poor and leave their countries to their rich

Of course and I would also take all the poor from the rest of Latin America, China, and India. Are you serious?

All other discussions aside, we have not only an energy crisis in this country, we have a water crisis (the current flood on the East Coast notwithstanding).

I have a home in Scottsdale. I am familiar with the growing water crisis in parts of this country. The growing population and urban development is bumping up against agricultural demands.

Even the largest aquifer in the nation -- the one running under Illinois -- is depleating. We are touting ethenol as a solution to our energy needs -- ethenol from corn -- corn that is grown in the mid-west; the same midwest that had a drought last summer and the corn was barely able to grow as a result.<

Ethanol is another scam pushed by the farm lobby. Let's take the tax off of imported ethanol first.

I agree that Gibson has good days and bad days...but he is muich better than Brian and Judge...which is what they would put in Gibson's place...

AND, I love it when Gibson goes off on a tangent about something that I agree with him on...LOL

He is like Levin, he hasn't perfected that "talk show host" style...which I LIKE...unlike Hannity that calls everyone his "friend" even if they aren't!

Rush is Rush...no need to ever go into comparisons there.

***ANOTHER THREE STAR POST ALERT HERE--#208-- BY STARWISE

I have wondered why the msm/drive-bys/ DNC rats were in such a tizzy about using wiretaps to intercept terrorist's plots.

But now it's all sinking in my naive little brain. They(clintonistas) used wiretaps only to spy on us and they think we will do the same, no wonder they are so upset. Now I get it.

Oh...I know, some of the more vitriolic freepmails I have gotten were from freepers that I THOUGHT were more logical..and know me well enough to know that I am not 100% on anything...

I have never hid my disagreements with President Bush, but I am not going to blame him for things that I know he either isn't to blame for...or that he has to get from Congress.

I watch WAY too much C-span to know that even with a supposed majority in both Houses of Congress he has had to walk a minefield to even get close to putting his agenda on the Congressional calendar...

I believe Hillary said "I loathe the military". it was Bubba who said "I don't talk to Generals"

Hellery called GHW and Dole cowards for what they did in WWII. I heard it back in 96 when Dole was running, I about dropped my own teeth. She said that GHW bailed out and left his crew to die, and that Dole made some poor private go out rescue him.

No one EVER challenged her on it. If I remember right it was on a CSPAN show during the 96 campaign

Speaking of Sheehan...that "MUTHA of the Year" is staging a 24 protest in front of the White House today...

I heard ONE reference about it on Fox today...didn't look like too many showed up to protest with her...Susan Sarandon supposedly showed up.

I bet the Bush's wait until the LAST minute to come back from Camp David...LOL

I don't know where Fox News got it in their head that instant talk show guys could make it in a market thats as tough as talk radio but they seem to think any one can do it, they are wrong.
Levin is coming along nicely as is Brian, but there is no substitute for years of working in radio.

It could be an all out freeper effort to post every lie, every distortion ,every blatant hypocrisy, every biased report and proof with what they(The White House) really said, and how the MSM/DNC took it so out of context.

Are you sure you want to post "every" lie? The thread replies would run in the thousands daily, it seems to me.

Just kidding....I think it's a great idea.

I don't remember seeing too many bills from any POTUS come out of committees, floor debate, house, senate, and any number of amemdments looking like the President's original proposal.

If you are referring to Matthews, the other day he said most Americans were like Cindy Sheehan!

If there is a stronger word than delusional, Matthews deserves it as a label.
