It sure sounds like the "preacher" was aiding and abetting a child molester. It was his duty to inform the police about possible child abuse instead of punishing the child!

According to its web site, First Missionary Baptist Church is a fundamentalist church unaffiliated with any Baptist organization. Sounds familiar. Chances are that, on the church's sign, the font size used for the "pastor's" name will equal or exceed that used for the church's name...

Let's see. Raped by a family member, betrayed by even MORE family members, forced to endure abuse by the hands of a "religious" figure...sheesh, it's literally going to take an act of God for this poor child not to turn her back on Him entirely, thanks to the actions of a bunch of self-serving hypocrites in denial.
As someone who endured "paddlings" in an evangelical school at the hands of a psycho principal, this story makes me want to puke.
