We're being colonized, and the political system here is following that trend.

That's so very obvious, isn't it?!

The United States government simply cannot afford a population of 12 million illegal aliens.

Why not? Is it really that big of an imposition to solve Mexico's problems?

The population of Mexico is about 90 million. 16 million is about 18% of 90 million. Is our government seriously considering granting U.S. citizenship to 18% of Mexico's population?

If those 16 million bring three family members each (which they would legally be able to do) that would be 64 million or about 67% of Mexico's population. That should go a long way towards relieving Mexico's stunning poverty. Don't we owe it to them for letting them get in here? I mean it is our fault they're not at home taking responsibility for their own country right?

You know... that means you are not dumb!... You are getting it :)

I just wonder, why more people don't see the "problem" here. I am immigrant myself, US citizen for many years. I know the energy these hungry/ambitious people bring to this country... I want, we need, immigrants, that is not the point, but this country should decide whom we want and when we want them, not the other way around.

That is it, in a nutshell.
