From a related post. Just a little heads up for all you WH lurkers... :-)
That means provisions to strengthen border security, coupled with a guest worker program that while the president doesn't say so in public provides a chance at citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.
"the president doesn't say so in public..."
Yea, imagine that. Kinda wants to just "breeze over that."
Here is a little something to "skim over" as well. Might even tack it in one of those morning briefings. Emphasis added, with extreme prejudice.
That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to ABOLISH it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Seems to me that the Founding Fathers were pretty clever in putting that instruction in The Unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united* States of America (Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776). By placing that instruction there it is not subject to amendments or change. It is there forever.

I posted this thread merely as a heads up. I had no idea it would be used to provide updates to the rally. I've enjoyed reading the posts as to what's happening since I can't be there (little thing called work). Thanks!

Thanks for re-posting my post on this thread, B4R.
Going to be off-line for several weeks, so didnt want to start up any debates or conversations on the original thread, but do want to thank you for your kind words there. I wont be here for a while to do my part in helping you all get the word out, but will look forward to returning to the fray in a few weeks. :)
Let's hope the President is about to announce something significant regarding our southern border in his speech on Monday night. It's about time the White House began listening to the American citizens. Government of the people, by the people, and for the people has been reduced to a meaningless cliché over the past seventeen years.
Back soon ...

Who gets to decide how we will deal with illegal immigration -- the people or the ruling elites?
Prop 187--enough said.
The minuteman phenomenon has the makings of a political movement with Gilchrist as its leader.
Some would argue that it already is a movement--we just haven't realized it yet.
Perhaps this fight over illegal immigrations will cause as profound a political realignment.
In spite of what some on FR will say, I think you're on to something. Parties change. Some disappear and are replaced by others. When I hear Republicans employing the same tactics and arguments that liberal Democrats were using a decade or two earlier, it seems time for a little "realignment."

Actually, a NRST taxes products produced and imported into the US by France, Germany and China at the same rate as "Made in the USA" products. A NRST subsidizes socialism/communism. Get it?
