You're wrong.

This issue has the grassroots across the country inflamed. FR is just one expression of that fact.

So much so that even local and state candidates are having to field as many immigration-based questions and comments as they are anything else. It's remarkable.

This issue has the grassroots across the country inflamed.

I will vouch for that here in Alabama.

It is all that people want to talk about on the local talk shows ... and they are not Dem trolls.

There may well be "plants" on this forum agitating ... but it would be a big mistake to assume that the feelings among the conservative Republican base are not real and deep.

I have no doubt at all that the issue is important to the grassroots.

And I have no doubt that anyone who knows anything knows that the Republicans, weak as they are, will do more than the Dems who want the borders wide open.

And I know that this forum has been infiltrated by DU trolls feigning the anger of conservatives.

And I know that any form of 'punishing the Republicans' will result in the election of pro-death, pro-open borders, pro-homosexual activist, anti-family, tax raising traitors.

And that's something that NO legitimate conservative can bear the thought of, EV. NONE.

We have to continue our campaign among Republicans........especially those up for re-election to get on this issue like ugly on an ape. We have to badger them with calls and e-mails and let them know exactly what we think.

This gang resultant corruption of Free Republic is doing the OPPOSITE of what needs to be done. It is turning away workers and serious freepers, because the hate is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

The thugs are turning away the serious activists who will work to help get this problem solved. Hate doesn't result in activism. Serious thought and concern for an issue DOES.

You NEED the good guys on this forum to work with you..............because the angry thugs won't get it done. Getting it done will take away their anger.........and they LIVE for it.

The more you guys alienate Bush supporters, the less help you'll get, because WE are the ones who will get out and pound the pavement to solve the problem.
