I've been listening, on the radio, to critics whining about Hayden's military background. I don't get it. How does serving in the military make a person less qualified for a government job?

"But, how did he become the head of NSA?
He was oked by the senate for that job. This one is no different in that respect. Of course NSA is super secret and is located at Fort Meade. This is political, a move to simply appose the president as far as I am concerned.
As many have ventured in public discourse, a number of CIA Directors where military officers. So what is the difference now. They have no valid excuse. Just trying to go against anything the president wants. And of course a lot of the demos realize Goss was a temporary henchmen, to find the main leakers, then quitely leave, opening the door for Hayden to step in and finish the cleanup and run the CIA the way it should have been run a long time ago. That's my take on the deal.

The hearings will be better to watch than the Alito hearings. Since they smell blood in the water with the prez's low approval numbers, the Intelligence committee Soros rat-toons will most likely go into whack job mode (again) to discredit Hayden.

Hopefully there shall be a sufficient number of Hayden supporters that can make the goons look like the idiots they are.

Bless your heart, if it were only the 'Rats. I'm dismayed every time I turn on the teevee and see yet another Republican hemming and hawing and allowing as how a military man shouldn't head the CIA. (Funny, it was sure ok up until now.) Our worst enemies right now might be those in our own party who have decided it might get them a little more face time on camera if they distance themselves from the President. Shame, shame on them. They're trading the future of this country for a vote or a few minutes on teevee.

It doesn't. It's a sly slap at our great military--they think we don't see it, but I think a lot of us do. Anyone saying this is NOT a friend of the military. I would venture a guess that MOST in the military contain more honor and decency (not to mention smarts) in their little fingers than the likes of these detractors, both the 'Rats and the RINOs.

I have followed him for about 5-6 years.

He is the guy who put the NSA program together.
He knows what the intelligence community can do
and what needs to be done.

One of the big things about intelligence is LEADERSHIP!

Is the info what people want to see or is it what the several analysts think? Give the facts, annotate opinion.
LEADERSHIP!
