Gay marriage opponents say ruling stifles their rights in schools

Ever since her 5-year-old brought home a book from kindergarten that depicted a gay family, Tonia Parker has felt that her parenting has been under attack in the only state that allows same-sex marriage.

She and her husband, David, didn't want to discuss sexual orientation yet with their son, and were shocked that the book was included in a "diversity book bag" last year. David Parker subsequently got arrested for refusing to leave a Lexington school after officials refused to meet his demand that he be notified when homosexuality was discussed in his son's class.

Now the Parkers and another couple have sued school officials in federal court, claiming Lexington officials violated their parental rights to teach morals to their own children.

The way they and other opponents of gay marriage see it, the 2003 ruling that cleared the way for same-sex weddings has emboldened Massachusetts gay rights advocates to push their views in schools and ignore those who feel homosexuality is immoral.

Glenn Koocher, executive director of the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, said there is no pro-gay campaign in the schools, just isolated cases exaggerated by anti-gay marriage activists who suffer from "narcissistic activist personality disorder."

Ever seen s Gay Pride day parade? THAT is "narcissistic activist personality disorder." Who da heck does he think he is fooling?

Just hand over the children so that they may know them.

These two couples can be too easily marginalized. What they need in Mass. is a class action suit - there should be thousands of Christian parents get on board with this.

A class action suit with a large number of people is much harder to push aside, either by the defendants or the judges - and it will get much more publicity as well as gives a heads up to other parents across the nation.

This issue should be aimed at the right of parents to decide what moral/religious - and at what age - issues their children are taught - and the right to oversee that teaching. Thus it becomes not an anti-gay issue, per se, but a parental rights issue.

You forget that this is Massachusetts, I doubt they can get enough parents for a class action suit with all the liberal kennedy-Kerry voting crapheads in that state.

I am surprised they havent been charged with a hate crime yet.

Operative word: YET. A talk show hosts here in Boston was bad mouthing these parents, saying it should not be a federal case, that it is ridiculous, this same host has said that he would file suit if his kids were exposed to talk of divorce, it's against his family beliefs, he's making a mockery of the case, keep in mind he has two young girls not yet quite school age, will be interesting to see how he reacts when his girls start bringing home this trash.......can't wait to see what he has to say about it then!

The way i see it, it's only going to get worse. As the kids are brainwashed into believing what they are taught under the homo agenda, as future adults they will pass on this stupidity to others. It's like a cancer. It's quite scary.

Homosexuals aret born that way--They are recruited.

Now the schools are doing their recruitment for them.

The real search today is for orgasm.

The old game of boy-girl is sometimes hard to play, Rejection, The opposite sex looking for beauty, physical attributes, money, all the things that make boy-gril relationships tough are used to make it easy for the homosexual to recruit. Give the kid an orgasm and he-she are off to the races. Homosexuals know this and they use it. Sex is easy to come by in the Homosexual world. Much easier than in the heterosexual. This is the attraction. Star the kids young into believeing there is nothing wrong with it and half the recruitment process is done.

"Homosexuals aret born that way--They are recruited."

With the greatest respect, I say yes and no to what you have said. Unfortunately, homosexuality isn't so black and white as to say that it is simply something learnt. If that were the case, then it could be more easily controlled. However, as a homosexual myself, and with over 20 years of close involvement with very many homos, i feel that I can confidently say that homosexuality appears in a miriad of forms. It can be learnt, or it can be part of an individual from a very young age. It may be partly genetic for some, and learned for others... it cannot be give one simple explaination.

For myself, I have never known any sexual attraction to the oposite sex. I never had any sexual abuse, which is ofthen the reason in some people. In fact I had a very balanced and happy family upbringing. And yet I've never found a female sexually attractive to me.
I tell you this to try to explain that homosexuality is a very complicated thing that takes many forms. (I go into it in more detail in my profile here).

If all homosexuals were recruits to it, then it wouldn't have the same power... but there is a large proportion of homos who identify themselves and their lives as 'homosexual', as we all know. To a large number of activists, homosexuality is like a religion and is a way of life, and they believe that it should be promoted and spread.
For homos like me, it isn't a choice, so like
I agree with you that many young people who have a strong sex-drive would find it quite easy to drift into homosexual activity when they are told that it's acceptable. It is true that there is a part of homosexuality that has a strong urge to recruit. The more supporters and the more who are sexually active within it's ranks, the more power it has in society.
Your point about the ease of getting sex within the homosexual world is very valid, and the liberal support that homosexuals have achieved in recent decades has enabled them to definitely recruit from amongst the youth... and age isn't a problem. The moral boundaries are set by the sexual hunger, which is never fulfilled or fulfillable.

The power of homosexuality is in numbers.

Respectfully.

**The moral boundaries are set by the sexual hunger, which is never fulfilled or fulfillable. ****

This is dangerous thinking. This sexual hunger you speak of has to be bound by common sense and the amount of AIDS among the Homosexual community proves it is not. Never let the little head take over from the big. You speak of age not being a problem, I believe many homosexuals feel that way and would delve into pedophilia in a minute if the sexual hunger struck them. Many straight men look at younger women with lust but their sex drive isnt so strong they allow it to over rule their common sense. Those who allow it to rule them end up in jail. There are moral boundaries and they must not be crossed.

"There are moral boundaries and they must not be crossed."

Of course, I totally agree with everything you've said here. You are spot on with the points you've made, and that's why the homosexual agenda is such a dangerous monster. If only those people who support this agenda could accept the evidence.
