No, I didn't say that. The mummies are the oldest people in the area with their own distinctive DNA ( I suspect Celt) and beginning around 100-200BC (possibly earlier) they were assimilated by others including the Han.
I'd be the least suprised if the first emperor of China was a tall guy with red-hair.

I don't interrupt the religious threads with GGG postings and assinine statements about people's belief. And now here you come along trying to make me feel bad/guilty because I don't believe as he does...and you're disappointed in me, ha! Back off.
I will alter my tagline for these threads. I do not want to cause a problem here (though I may elsewhere).

Bellflower; Jedi Master Pikachu: These GGG threads are about history, anthropology, archaeology, and occasionally paleontology. There are plenty of Crevo threads -- almost all of which are essentially identical bloodbaths -- and Patrick Henry is good enough to generally not Crevo-ping GGG threads, even though some are probably of interest to his list members.
Here's a shocker -- I also think everything is a creation, am not an atheist, and think good old fashioned, quaint, Victorian-era Darwinian natural selection is merely a force for extinction, rather than being the origin of species as Darwin's apologists and true believers claim. I just don't get involved in the bloodbaths, because no one on either side (or any side, because there are various shades of gray in the so-called debate) bothers to listen to anyone else, and all involved repeat the same tired BS, every hour of every day. Having been online since about 1984, IOW, the BBS era, I've been heartily sick for a very long time of the so-called debate and everyone involving themselves in it.
Sidebar to all comers: Similarly, I'm heartily sick of being accused by proxy of being an atheist just because I don't censor / edit postings of stories which use BCE instead of BC and CE instead of AD. I will continue to post those as-is, and if anyone gets really obnoxious about that, I will tell them very nicely where to stick it, and if it continues, I will file a complaint with FR management. I like my participation on FR, and am not going to be bullied or railroaded into silence. And my immortal soul will be just fine.
