Eric Clapton Supports Fox Hunting"
I wouldn't mind a little Fox hunting.
Anyone else want to take a trip to Mexico?

Clapton's spokesperson confirmed last night, "Eric supports the Countryside Alliance. He doesn't hunt himself, but does enjoy rural pursuits such as fishing and shooting. He supports the Alliance's pursuit to scrap the ban on the basis that he doesn't agree with the state's interference with people's private pursuits." Kudos to Clapton for not being a British weenie...Bob's your uncle.

Clapton is a Conservative.
From Clapton's bio at Wikipedia:
In 1976, Clapton was the centre of controversy, and accusations of racism, when he spoke out against increasing immigration, during a concert in Birmingham. Clapton said that England had "become overcrowded", and implored the crowd to vote for Enoch Powell (Conservative party) to stop Britain becoming "a black colony". These comments (along with equally ill-advised remarks by David Bowie) led to the creation of the Rock Against Racism movement in the UK.
