The thought never crossed her mind as a kid. It's NOW that she wants desperately to have been an olympic champion, because it might help her win the election.
Remember how she was "Hillary Clinton" during the 2000 campaign when it suited her husband's campaign, then right after the election she's "Hillary Rodham Clinton" to emphasize her own identity? We haven't heard "Rodham" in years, have we? And why not?
