It would appear that SCOTUS just ruled that a Fed bankruptcy court can overturn a State Civil court / jury and force a partial settlement.

This could have some very far reaching impact into civil litigation.

Hopefully it will reach to local courts. Local Courts have been corrupt for years. I wish the SC would have just awarded full settlement to Anna. Local Judges have not been following the law, but interpreting it illegally and they have been getting away with it for year. Some feel good Judges should be removed from the bench.
