I couldn't fight the battle alone in NY, so I got out. Got myself to a poor state that holds no incentive for the invaders and where they will most assuredly, not be welcome in my lifetime. If you just hang out waiting for your gov't to do something, your toast!

Up until about a month ago when all this became high-profile, I was in the market for a house in Orange County CA.
I've been having second thoughts, though, wondering how long it will be until what are now nice neighborhoods go bad. People buying modest homes in the area are paying $750K. What happens when the pool of buyers dries up because the majority of workers are low-wage illegals and amnestied illegals ? I could see my life's savings -- the $250K down payment -- get wiped out.
