What a sadsack.
So its OK to keep people from voting??? /s
Everyone who was going to use those vans to get to the polls should drag there butts in to court now.
>>> but at least they'll have criminal records now. <<<
Think this may just "fall between the cracks"
Wait a min.
100 vans thats 400 tires
Even at the cheap rate of $50/ tire thats $20,000 (last time I got tires for my van it was $125.00 ea)
>>> in addition to the $5,317 in total restitution <<<
Just dont add up.
>>>> "I'm very proud of him," Moore said. "He's accepted responsibility." <<<<<
Only a liberal could twist to that.
I must say I am shocked! This is not the outcome I expected! Maybe Western Democracy still stands a chance.

Marvin Pratt, acting mayor of Milwaukee at the time of the photo in 2004, and father of just-convicted Democrat tire-slasher Michael Pratt.
Probably was at the direction of Kerry himself. He's used similar tactics in the past.

On Sept. 18, 1972, the evening before the primary election during his second attempt for Congress, Kerrys brother Cameron and one Thomas Vallely, both part of his current campaign team, were arrested by Lowell police at 1:40 a.m. and charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit larceny. The two were apprehended in the basement of a building whose door had been forced open, police said. It housed the headquarters of candidate DiFruscia. The Watergate scandal was making headlines at this time, and it was called the Lowell Watergate.
"They wanted to sever my telephone lines," DiFruscia said recently. Had those lines been cut, Kerrys opponent would not have been able to telephone supporters on Election Day to get out the vote and coordinate poll watchers, vital roles in a close election. "I do not know if they wanted to break into my office," says DiFruscia today. At the time he said, "All my IBM cards and the list of my voter identification in the greater Lowell area are in my headquarters."

Never mind an intelligent discussion of the issues, or a constructive plan for improving the city of Milwaukee, I'm guessing MAWvin's campaign platform is based on a defense of his son's felonious behavior, combined with a reopening of the 140 years dead slavery issue.
The only requirements are that any statements must be at a preschool level and rhyme:
"We endured the lash, so now we must slash."
"Slavery was dire, we attack the white man's tire."
I wished the criminal record would have been a felony. Why would attempting to deny a citizen's right to vote in a National election NOT be a felony? If it is not the law should be changed. These human debris should be denied their right to vote for the rest of their lives.
You spelled pimp wrong... twice.
I see your point of view Indy Pendance, however, this election also involved voting at the National level and IMO, the charges should be a felony for attempting to deny real (not hyphenated) US Citizens the right to get to the voting booths.
Does anyone posting on the FR not think if this human debris were Republicans or Conservatives that the full weight of the federal government would come crashing down upon them squashing them like a bug?
A long time ago, someone said.....
"It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no Senator's son
It ain't me, no it ain't me
I ain't the fortunate one..."
"All my IBM cards..."
Good info to remember on Kerry. I know we had Nixon, but the 'Rats through the years make him look like a total amature.
And those IBM Cards? LOL! I used to do the coding and punching of those cards for the Army. Those machines were the size of an entire room!
What goofy technology when compared to today. Thanks for the memory/chuckle. :)
