far as I know, I don't have "Hispanic Leader," LOL"

It's odd, how our media will manufacture "leaders" to further their socialist agenda, isn't it? At least you're not attacked for being conservative, politically. Well, I might need to modify that ... Hispanic Cuban exiles are routinely trashed by the MSM; witness the whole Elian Gonzales debacle. But most are not.

"his numbers keep on growing"

I guess they do since the number of ILLEGALS keep growing each day.

At a time when a balanced and thoughtful debate is required to address the security of our borders, and how we deal with individuals that come to this country seeking a better life, Mr. Dobbs's inflammatory rhetoric does not contribute to a solution.''

As part of its mission, The Hispanic Institute seeks to educate policy makers and the general public, on the economic contributions of Hispanics to the United States.

------
The first sentence states that the problem is the security of our borders, it then goes on to how Mr. Dobbs is not contributing to a solution and their desire to censure him for that (in their minds) omission.

I'm anxious to learn how The Hispanic Institute contributes to the “security of our borders” by “seek(ing) to educate policy makers and the general public, on the economic contributions of Hispanics to the United States”.

Since The Hispanic Institute, like Mr. Dobbs, isn’t contributing to the security of our borders, doesn't it follow that they too should be censured?

I'm displeased with several of his domestic policies, most especially immigration and his stance on the illegals situation.

Voted for him twice myself. He and the republican Party, though, abandoned me on immigration. Never again! RNC sent me a letter begging for donations, I sent them $5,000. In monopoly money.

I voted for him the first time and against Kerry the second time. I'll be sending the GOP Pesos (see my home page) when they come a'calling (unless the someone who asks is like Senator Sessions or Rep. Tancredo).

Lou Dobbs can say what the hell he wants. This is a free country for "legal" residents to speak their minds.

I voted against Gore and I voted against Kerry, rather than for George W. Bush. I had misgivings about him then, and those misgivings are growing. But, I cannot envision the circumstance that would have me regretting my votes, in keeping those two socialists out of office, even though I am increasingly incensed at the behavior of the president I voted for, twice, especially over the past year.

Agreed. However I had absolutely no misgivings the first go 'round, but things started bothering me with his domestic policies around the time he didn't veto Campaign Finance Reform. It's grown considerably since then.

You mean the LSM (Former Main). Yes I agree with you but we must take heart!... I mean just look what is happening to the LSM (NYT, ABC, CBS and the rest), they are s-l-o-w-l-y dying :), and conversely, the new media (i.e. Townhall.com, and a host of others are coming to life every day. In fact MICHELLE MALKING just "opened/inaugurated" a new Blogg in these past three days that looks very exciting http://www.hotair.com

and with each of these new publications the LSM dies a little more everyday and so does their power, and eventually really, who gives a s--- what they think.. it won't matter.

This is one of the things I try to do here if FR, but mostly for those who look in from outside...show everyone, not all "hispanics" come from the same stock... we are very different. Good night :)

Knowing the way CNN treats their talent though, CNN will probably do a half-assed job of standing up for Lou Dobbs, just like they did with Larry King. He'll be left all alone, flapping in the wind like every other CNN anchor who they are too afraid too support.

CNN is probably enjoying Lou Dobbs' increased ratings.
