Cynthia McKinney, proof that while intelligence is limited, stupidity (and arrogance) are infinite.

Actually, she's a walking advertisement for congressional districting rules that prohibit gerrymandering.

The only way that manifest crazies like McKinney and Carol Mosley Braun and Maxine Waters get elected and grow fat and smug in office is because their districts are drawn in a way that would allow them to win if they got caught sacrificing babies to Satan.

(And yes, I do realize that I used three black women as examples. There are plenty of others like this, all colors, genders, and creeds. These are simply three really good examples of the problem.)

You left out the good part. When first elected, McKinney lived outside of her district and rented an apartment to be considered inside the district.

But wait, that's just the icing on the cake. Here's the cake: the congressional districts were designed by a group of Democrats and among the most prominent of those Democrats was a state representative named Billy McKinney, Cynthia's Daddy.

Ms Braun was a one-term senator. No gerrymandering caused her to win that office.
