Oh boy, the faux-bull is using the "I'm rubber you're glue" argument. "Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you". Your ilk herd is busted, recognized for the fifth columnists that they are.
Name-calling, rhetoric, and baseless allegations.
I rest my case.
LOL!
"Put down the mouse and step slowly back from the keyboard."
And that is the crux. The CAGOP thinks they can discard their traditional Right base in favor of a "new majority" carved from the middle. Then, when the middle muddle prove to be too indifferent to even vote unless their a$$ is on fire, they want to blame the old Right base with accusations of disloyalty and "voting for the Dems".
Here's a clue for you "party uber alles" types: loyalty begets loyalty. The party is supposed to serve the members, not the other way around.
When your chief cheerleader is carrying water for the global warming alarmists, then he's stopped showing loyalty to his base. When he won't lift a finger to stop the border problem, even with a half-million lawbreakers in the streets of his largest city, then he's stopped showing loyalty to his base. When he's spending political capital to float 6 billion dollar loans for stem cell ventures, then he's stopped showing loyalty to his base. When he's proposing borrowing billions and billions more without first making any effort to control the spending, then he's stopped showing loyalty to his base.
So, look to your new found "social lib, fiscal stupid" middle muddle for votes, and don't be surprised when a poke in the eye is not forgotten in the election booth. Your "give 'em vinegar" approach to attracting conservatives is failing and your "your only alternative is Dems" tactic wore thin last time, when you backstabbed the conservatives in the special election.
We knew then what Arnold was likely to do. He's done exactly what we predicted. Despite your best sugar coating, we aren't deceived into thinking he'll do any differently with another term.
Excellent post, LB.
I find myself always wanting to stand up and applaud at your posts.
Republican candidates can EARN my vote.
All they have to do is stick to the platform, not make a mockery of it.
If we are "filthy" it is your mud that has done the job.
Who said fifth column? It seems someone wants to label traditional Republicans (those who didn't vote for Jimmy Carter and Jerry Brown) as "intolerant and bigoted" and "racist, intolerant brown-shirted totalitarians." Filth is right!

Protagoras : "Liberalism has a bitter taste. You seem to have grown to like the flavor."
Grunt: "Yep, I wanna win! I want the x-tremes put in their place! I want the intolerant and bigoted to know their bile and falsehood and fear and empty threats are now impotent, their day is over. Republicans will not be identified as racist, intolerant brown-shirted totalitarians. We will capture the great middle ground. The middle ground which we lost due to the x-treme's gross intolerance causing the flight! Time for them to regroup. What are you going to do?"

Grunt: "Been voting for 36 years now and have only made two mistakes, the peanut farmer and guberner moonbeam. Never again will I vote the corrupt party, that excuses the traitors xlinton and kerry."

Grunt: "I'm going to vote for Arnold because I'm very proud of him and hopeful and confident of his success. For me he represents the Rennaisance of the Republican party. and substancially providing dynamic leadership and unity to our state. As a unified state, regardless of party lines, we will be able to accomplish miracles."

What can ya say? *-\
Viva la Renaissance..
Viva la Reconquista
NeoRepublican style.
Gee, you mean they can't take us for granted any more? That true conservatives expect to see candidates with conservative agendas, principles and values?
Good grief, what's next...expecting them to adhere to their pre-election conservative promises? Insisting their actions match their words?
Well, I can see the RINOs will have no use for you...
I like it! I love it!! I want some more of it!!!
Conservatives comprise about 35% of the registered Republicans in California. That's 10% to 15% of those casting ballots depending on turnout. Without those conservative votes any Republican is toast. Even liberal Republicans seeking to offset conservative losses with gains in the soft left.
At this time the polls favor the Austrian over the other two domestic liberals in the gubernatorial race. But the bottom will fall of those stats after the soft left sees the Austrian deserted by Republicans in the June primary. Comparing the approval ratings between Governor and Lt. Governor in the partisan primary will, most likely, sink the Austrian Pretender. No one likes to back a looser.
California may well face another liberal for 4 years but at least she will be rid of a duplicitous, foreign interloper. The state will survive and the CRP will be rid of a curse.
He is attempting to appease moderates and centrist liberals with the enviro chatter. Suprisingly, his campaign seems to be doing OK against that charming "CPA on crack" Phil Angelides.
The race for Governor has left conservatives no good choice. Angelides is awful. Westly is awful. Schwarzenegger is awful (a little less, but still awful).
No matter what folks do at the top of the ticket, I do hope that people DO VOTE. There are a lot of other solid conservatives/republicans on the ballot that deserve (and have earned) our support.
Wouldn't that be refreshing!
Agreed. The sooner we get rid of him, the better.
I did, of you. And you perpetuate the belief with attempts to smear. Someone gives you a bit of honest thought and you twist it into tarnish. Your California ilk herd is exposed and hopefully those in other states, and on the federal level, will be aware of you gutter tactics and not fall for the same tra-la-la.
It is kinda cool that you waste your time looking up my posts. Carry on.
Smear? It seems there is only one of us doing the name calling--and it isn't me.
Someone gives you a bit of honest thought and you twist it into tarnish.
You consider calling Republicans "racist, intolerant brown-shirted totalitarians" a bit of honest thought?
Your California ilk herd is exposed and hopefully those in other states, and on the federal level, will be aware of you gutter tactics and not fall for the same tra-la-la.
More name calling. Quoting your prior posts is a gutter tactic?
Whatever!
Taking stuff outta context is a liar's trick. Its your specialty. The faux-bull bellows and the herd follows. Too bad the ilk herd is exposed for the fifth columnists they are.
ps - fifth, vengeful one, not filth, unless you were coordinating with the faux bull whose subsequnt post contained the talking point 'filth'. And I thought SW was the bright one ...
I gave complete, entire posts, with links, so any reader can see for themselves. Regardless, your name calling and venom for traditional Republicans is quite obvious. Your words, once again:
I want the x-tremes put in their place! I want the intolerant and bigoted to know their bile and falsehood and fear and empty threats are now impotent, their day is over. Republicans will not be identified as racist, intolerant brown-shirted totalitarians. We will capture the great middle ground. The middle ground which we lost due to the x-treme's gross intolerance causing the flight! Time for them to regroup. What are you going to do?I am a lifelong Republican and find your comments personally insulting! By wanting to capture the "great middle ground", you apparently want to wipe out conservatives.
You're happy with all of Arnold's Global Warming utterances? With his liberal appointments? With the leftist judges? With gays and liberals in the executive suite? With record borrowing and spending? With millions of acres in land grabs? Well, I am not! Nor are the majority of the people on this forum and this thread. If Republicans don't speak out to hold politicians in their own party accountable to their campaign promises and the platform of the party, no one will!
The faux-bull bellows and the herd follows. Too bad the ilk herd is exposed for the fifth columnists they are.
That's the fourth time you said that. Repeating it over and over doesn't make it true. You have exposed nothing except your true motive--destroying the Republican party as it has been known in any traditional sense to create some new mega-power middle-mush no-principle political machine.
ps - fifth, vengeful one, not filth, unless you were coordinating with the faux bull whose subsequnt post contained the talking point 'filth'. And I thought SW was the bright one ...
Ummm.... bright? Perhaps you should not be judging. SW didn't say 'filth', NR said 'filthy'. And my use of the word, if you read my post, is not a quote but my description of your vile posts.
Now, enough of the name calling, personal insults, and baseless accusations already!
You first. LOL, you're still protesting too much and still taking things out of context in order to stir the pot. You can prove that you're not filthy fifth columnists by not slinging so much dirt and trying to destoy any candidate with a slim chance of beating a rotten demoncrap.
Keep the spamming up, the ilk do it so well.
