haha!
It took the new Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Mike Mullen, less than 24 hours to dump one of the most disliked officers among the Navy's top brass. Vice-Admiral Joe Sestak, an arrogant and obnoxious "bully-boy," who delighted in being rude and unreasonable and getting away with it, found he was expendable the minute his mentor went out the door.
It was (Vern) Clark, a leftover from the Clinton Administration, who promoted Sestak to his third-star and made him deputy chief of naval operations for Warfare Requirements and Programs. Those who dared to complain about Sestak's abusive "management style" were ignored or punished.

Deputy CNO Sestak Is Reassigned
New CNO Reportedly Makes Move Because of Poor Command Climate
By Christopher P. Cavas
Times staff writer
Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) Vice Adm. Joseph Sestak was administratively reassigned July 25 by new Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen, according to Rear Adm. T. McCreary, chief of naval information.
Rear Adm. Mark Edwards, currently serving as director of the Surface Warfare Division, will serve as the acting DCNO until such time as a relief can be identified, nominated and confirmed, McCreary said.
A source within the Navy Department said there were no allegations of misconduct on the part of Sestak. Rather, he said, the move is being made because of poor command climate.

I read it as "Clintonista politico creates poor command climate in the US Navy!" Let's remember that Sestak was on Sandy Burglar's NSC staff (leading to the Burglarites to hold their recent fundraiser for Sestak), and can almost certainly be viewed as one of the trojan horse "moles" that the Clintonistas forced into high levels of the bureaucracy as they prepared to leave town.

Tonights event begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Connecticut Ave. law office of Harold Ickes and Janice Enright, according to the invitation. Ickes, a labor attorney and former top aide to President Clinton, was a strategist for Hillary Rodham Clintons 2000 Senate campaign. Enright, a lobbyist who works with Ickes, is the treasurer of Sen. Clintons 2006 re-election committee.
The invitation asks for individual contributions ranging from $250 to $2,100. Sestak is not distancing himself from Berger or the other Clinton administration officials hosting the fund-raiser, including Anthony Lake, Richard Clarke, John Dalton and Rand Beers.
"This event is hosted by a group of people I used to work with, people that I was and am friends with, and I am proud to count them among my friends," Sestak said through Bennett.

That's why the dinosaur media IS the dinosaur media and why it is dying. No way can they keep up. I just wish they would hurry up and die.
This sick traitorous scumbag Mary McCarthy should be taken to Eastern Europe and waterboarded until she spits out everything she knows. No joke.
I would have probably gone into permanent hiding if I got caught doing something like that but THEY have no shame.
I seem to recall Howard Dean wasn't even trying to be "stealthy" in his game plan to go around recruiting veterans to run in local, state, and Congressional races...
in order to "use" their military service against the GOP...and they do intend to USE these people..and if they don't win...they will be thrown away like so much trash.
And yes, like you said...they will scream the dem mantra "you can't question my patriotism and get away with it"...at every opportunity in the press and during any debate.
The question is: How DO the GOP counter that?
You're right .. and air america has been promoting this for months
Honor their service to our country
But that doesn't mean they will make for good politicians
Just look at McCain
I agree!
LOL...I can hear Curt Weldon now, in a debate...
Sir, I honor your service to the country, but that doesn't mean you will be a good Congressman....I mean...look at John Kerry, John Murtha, and John McCain!!!!
Oh..jeez, I just realized I named three "Johns"....oopsy!
Solid points
Moe's own brother?
Just my opinion but it takes a lot of 'ego' to strive for high position, and once they get there they don't want to lose power so badly that they'll do anything to keep it.
Sestak's Wife is Susan Lesley Clark, a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
