Opposing a war that you think is wrong BEFORE IT STARTS is patriotic.

Doing so afterwards can easily become downright seditious.

I love how these bimbos think that they can prance around claiming that they support the troops while at the same time undermining their mission. I'd love to just look them in the eye and simply say, "No, you don't." Just to see what kind of reaction would ensue.

No, Mr. Kerry. Free speech is patriotic. Loving your country is patriotic. Hot dogs and apple pie are patriotic.

Opposing your country when troops are in battle is not patriotic at all. In fact, it borders on the criminal.

Kerry needs to take his message to Military bases and see how they react.

Kerry's not "unpatriotic". He's a traitor.

According to Kerry opposing the war *is* patriotic.

So is spitting on soldiers, denying the right to vote to soldiers, allowing members of the Taliban at Yale, sending food to our enemies, denying illegal immigrants their "right" to vote...

The right to dissent can be patriotic. But when dissent is all you seem able to offer, that is when people begin to question the reasons for your alleged dissent. Is your dissent predicated in some deep seated, set of moral beliefs or is it rooted simply in the fact that the President doesn't wear the same color jersey as your team? Are you truly concerned with making good decisions for the country or just ones that are good for you and your political allies? Given Mr. Kerry's track record and history of standing on all sides of the aisle at least once, many of us have come to the latter conclusion.

The Left will soon figure out that the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel is actually the headlight of an oncoming train.

Is this all he's got? Dissent is patriotic? How about actually DOING something, F'n? Everything's Vietnam to this fool.

["I have come here today to reaffirm that it was right to dissent in 1971 from a war that was wrong. And to affirm that it is both a right and an obligation for Americans today to disagree with a president who is wrong, a policy that is wrong, and a war in Iraq that...]

Nice timing s'Kerry.

Also in today's new:

Iraq's new prime minister promised Saturday to swiftly finish building a unity government after parliament elected a top national leadership, ending months of political deadlock.
