Wonder if a kid could grow up and be unable to prove his or her identity because of previous use of his or her SS#?

I would venture to say that this will become a pretty common problem in the near future.
I started running credit checks on my daughter's SS# when she was in high school.
I have a friend who's child's number and name was used to apply for AFDC here in California.
