If that were true we would have neither legal our moral authority to maintain a border at all. Just throw open the border to the poor, oppressed, and diseased of the world. You jest, but surely everyone does know that the reason you have to take a TB test now for employment at many places is because there is a rather large number of people in Mexico who are TB carriers and they are bringing it into the U.S.
But, of course, the people who hire them are NOT in the group who test for TB.
Agreed - I still have a problem with allegiance if there is not borders. To become a citizen you are supposed to believe and pledge this: "I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen.”(US Oath of Allegiance)
