Here is my unofficial tally as of today:
Total
Democrat: 52 34.9%
Republican: 79 53.0%
decline-to-state: 18 12.1%
Total: 149 100.0%

Los Angeles County Superior Court
Democrat: 19 50.0%
Republican: 15 39.5%
decline-to-state: 4 10.5%
Total: 38 100.0%
Of course, this count becomes meaningless since it was determined that at least one had changed their party affiliation right before being appointed.

Amazingly, Arnold actually managed to move to CA Supreme Court FURTHER LEFTWARD by appointing a Harriet Miers type 'centrist' to the seat that had been held by solidly conserative Janice Rogers Brown.

I'm just glad we didn't have a FO type Arnoldbot freeper in Illinois during criminal RINO George Ryan's reign. I'm sure she would have found a way to spin Ryan's appointment of Jesse Jackson Sr. as being benefitical to conservatives.
