The Washington Times ^ | 4-21-06 | Jennifer Harper

Using temperature readings from the past 100 years, 1,000 computer simulations and the evidence left in ancient tree rings, Duke University scientists announced yesterday that "the magnitude of future global warming will likely fall well short of current highest predictions."

Agreed. Al Gore and his assorted tin-foil-hat-wearing moonbats will claim that Halliburton & Cheney paid for this study and that all the relevant scientists are Republican tools.

I also have a prediction. The XVP will not be talking about what China, Russia, the EU and Korea have not done to control dangerous gas emissions, but you can be sure we will hear a lot about how the US has failed, especially during the Eisenhower, Nixon, and Bush I and II administrations.

Global warming may not be as dramatic as some scientists have predicted.

Translation: They need more grant money to study this new development.

From the article: "On Wednesday, two geophysics professors at the University of Chicago warned those who eat red meat that their increased flatulence contributes to greenhouse gases.

Personally, I'm glad that the problem might not be as dramatic assome scientists have predicted... *whew*

The environ-mental cases will certainly not enjoy having such a pail of cold water thrown into the fire of their cherished mythology. Much gnashing of teeth is certain to follow.

also from the article, The Hollywood production will be released to theaters in May and is billed by producer Davis Guggenheim as "the most terrifying film you will ever see.

This guy is delusional and Al Gore is crazy. The media will harp this film to no end. There will be wall to wall coverage by the MSM. The MSM will point fingers at the Bush administration. And, you know what will be frustrating. Instead of saying the film is junk science and an attack on Capitalism, the Bush admin will say we are looking into Global warming blah blah, blah. The American people need our President to speak bluntly and with authority and tell the World that the Global Warming scare is nothing but an attempt to destroy the US economy. I hope the Bush admin comes out swinging with this propaganda film is released.

This is in the Washington Times.

None of the Greenies will ever read it, and therefor their belief system will never be challenged.

Oh well. Looks like advocates for world socialism, the answer in search of a question for over a century, will have to manufacture some other crisis that only they can solve.
