I got this email today and viewed the commercial. Really cool but may be BS. Check it out.

The voiceover is Garrison Keillor. I wouldn't be able to make it all the way through without thinking about Powdermilk Biscuits, Lutherans, and communists.

It's cool, but really old. I got this six or seven years ago.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing what one can do with computer special effects today.

Honda: where are the Civics are strong, the Accords are good-looking and all the cars are above average.

I've heard the Japanese are so poor many of them have to eat their fish raw, and instead of potatoes they have to eat plain rice.
Six million dollars could have helped those people.

If they're using Garrison Keillor as a voice-over, I think I'll go with Toyota.

I've heard the Japanese are so poor many of them have to eat their fish rawNot just that, but many work so hard and so many hours, that they don't even have time to fish for their own food. They're forced to eat bait!

The tires had weights inside that made them roll once nudged from direct top center.
This is an older commercial.....cool nevertheless.

The tires I can understand. I'd like to know how they got a muffler to roll like that. Ovals that eccentric don't usually want to roll - they want to slide.

That was pretty cool, the only thing i question is that the tires roll uphill? I have this video on my hard drive. It's been there since 5/12/2003. Old stuff.
The video you are seeing was done in ONE shot. It took over 600 attempts to get it all to work in one take.
The tire rolling "up hill" is exactly as you see it.
The tire was filled with steel nuts that were all shifted into one section of the tire...conveniently placed at the top...so when it was nudged, the weight of the nuts pulled the tire forward.
