Kansas cops raid a high school after plans are uncovered off a web page of 5 students to do a Columbine style killing spree at their high school....developing and breaking...
I'm more and more glad I'm not teaching now!

Everything's up-to-date in Kansas City.
Five students arrested in foiled southeast Kansas school shooting
HEATHER HOLLINGSWORTH
Associated Press
Five students were arrested Thursday in a foiled shooting plot at a rural southeast Kansas high school that was uncovered after details of the plan appeared on the MySpace.com Web site.
Cherokee County sheriff's deputies found guns, ammunition and knives in the bedroom of one of the suspects, Sheriff Steve Norman said.
Charges were not immediately filed against the suspects whose names were not immediately released. Their ages ranged from 16 to 18.
More reason for teachers to carry concealed. (IMHO)
It's Columbine anniversary today.
Stoopid stupid parents
Columbine Anniversary bump!
More positive publicity for myspace.com. It's merely a matter of time before they too, have an incident of a cannibal finding a willing dinner.
this is the second incident like this in the Kansas/Missouri general area in as many days
and, stoopid stupid evil kids.
Are the police now monitoring MySpace? Or were they tipped when someone else read the site?
And how dumb do you have to be to put your plans for world domination on the web? (I keep my plans in a USB drive).
TIME TO SHUT DOWN MYSPACE!
The tens of thousands of people that sign up on MySpace each day? MySpace will never shut down...bank it.
I sure am glad they found the one kid in Kansas with guns, ammunition, and knives in his bedroom.
It's a matter of time before Congress has to act to protect kids on the internet, with "reasonable" restrictions for everyone.
All these MySpace stories and similar cyberstalker articles are setting us up for new internet legislation "for the children". Will it come in time for the 06 elections, or the 08?
I respectfully disagree. Myspace is a 'honeypot'. Without it, this wouldn't have been uncovered.
Why???
It is just a website...
Myspace was not around when Columbine happened... yet those two freaks still managed to kill people...

Ar you crazy, or just kidding?
Without it, these kids would likely have still planned it - just not in a way that could be monitored. I say keep MySpace up, and keep it under observation.
