C-Rats were always good.
Of course, after humping your gear for 10 or 20 miles, anything would taste good.
Us smokers would often trade our chocolate bars for nonsmoker's cigarettes.
One thing about C-Rats is that if you couldn't heat them they still tasted pretty darned good.
