"Now, put Tony Snow in there and kick some leftist media @ss. :)"

I love ole Tony, but the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Since it's for laughs, let's float Rush in too.

Rummy would be much better though.

What I read about Rove just a few minutes ago, from a DC TV station alert seemed to indicate Rove was going to focus on the mid-term elections. For whatever it's worth, that was the message.

"My guess it will be Dan Senor...just a hunch"

Looks like Senor has some clout at NBC now.

My prediction: Victoria Clark. Not my pick, just a prediction.

Karen Hughes is not suitable. I can't remember the specifics, but I've seen her in some interviews where she just wasn't prepared. She's very good behind the scenes.

Bush needs someone who can think on his/her feet.

Say what you want about McLellan but I thought he was always gracious and polite. For people who like to conduct themselves in an adult manner, he was a good representative in that regard.
A gentleman who knew how to behave in public. I thought that during his tenure he was quite adept at giving the WH press corps enough rope to hang themselves. The public's view of the press declined while he was there.

I nominate Mark Steyn for this position. He'll make the press cry.

I have watched the first season of 24. It is without a doubt, the best "serial" since "The Prisoner." Methinks Patrick McGoohan should be brought in for a cameo as Jack's father.

Rove is history too.

First thread I click on, and I already got my steaming hot cup of nonsense for the day!

Rove is the only guy who knows how to steer the hurricane machine. He’s not going anywhere.

You sound like my brother. To him, if it's not on HBO, it's not worth watching. Do yourself a favor though, check out "Rescue Me" on FX. IMHO, it's the best series on TV right now. New season starts end of May, but Seasons I and II are shown on FX reruns.
