Tony, you are correct to be thinking and considering your family with this. Personally I think you've made your decision already and that you won't be taking the press job. There's my guess and I'm sticking to it.
Maybe you'll prove me wrong, though.

He makes more money out of that position. He honors working in the White House, but he is not going to leave what he is doing now.
The country would be well-served with an effective communicator such as yourself as media pointman. That being said, whatever you decide will be fine with us.
