I have spent untold hours (stupidly perhaps... haven't found a better site), going through re-imbursement funds (from the fed to the states),for the costs of illegals (hospitals, schools, prison, law enforcement, housing, social services), it's quite a task.
Any ideas where I can find this easier? I did notice that most of those who are so for amnesty asked for money.

No....but I'll make efforts to find something, and if/when I do, I'll let you know right away. In my searches for that kind of information, previously and the past few days, it appears that there is a concerted effort by the feds to NOT break down this information. I can only imagine why.

Ali....One thing I've noticed, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is often referred to for, apparently, reliable information.

You might be interested in this document, The High Cost of Cheap Labor Illegal Immigration and the Federal Budget Estimated , wherein it has a table and analysis, such as:

Total Deficit Created by Illegals. If the estimated net fiscal drain of $2,736 a year that each illegal household imposes on the federal treasury is multiplied by the nearly three million illegal households, the total cost comes to $10.4 billion a year. Whether one considers this to be a large sum or not is, of course, a matter of perspective. But, this figure is unambiguously negative and certainly not trivial. It is also worth remembering that these figures are only for the federal government and do not include any costs at the state or local level, where the impact is likely to be significant.
And, quoting from the CIS study, this article: "Study: Illegals cost U.S. $10 billion a year
If Bush amnesty program were implemented, figure would triple"

The study found each illegal-alien household used $2,700 a year more in services than paid in taxes in 2002. Expenditures included Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).
