I had to miss last Thursday and Friday's threads. Do you happen to have a link to either of them? Or...can you tell me anything important that happened those days?

TIME TO RALLY IN KANSAS CITY & MAKE A SIGN!

PLEASE get the word out to everyone in Kansas & Missouri.

Citizens in favor of ENFORCING immigration laws will be holding a demonstration in

Kansas City on MONDAY, APRIL 17TH, 5 - 6:30 PM.

It will be in MILL CREEK PARK ON THE PLAZA, Kansas City, MO.. Mill Creek Park is on 47th Street at Mill Creek Parkway, which is basically Broadway, but becomes Mill Creek Pky. north of 47th. You have all seen this. It's the one with the big fountain.

We will be SUPPORTING HR 4437, opposing amnesty, and calling attention to the lost wages and jobs suffered by American workers as a consequence of illegal immigration.

We are hoping for strong numbers that will serve as an incentive for US citizens to get off their sofas and into the streets in other cities as well. We need to prove that American citizens feel just as strongly about this issue as the illegal aliens do.

Bring friends, bring flags, bring signs (such as "What part of "ILLEGAL" doesn't the Senate understand?"; " Enforce the law";
"America welcomes LEGAL immigration";
"Protect American workers";
"good fences make good neighbors"; etc.)

Time magazine reports that defense attorneys for the Duke students are saying the police conducted a sting operation in that e-mail where students threatened to kill a stripper. Freepers confirm it can be done.

Were Duke Players Victims in an E-Mail Sting?

FYI, Josh Gerstein of the NY SUN has a long but informative piece today on the CIA Leak case.

No Hint Seen in Memo that Plame's Role Was Secret

Contrary to published reports, a State Department memorandum at the center of the investigation into the leak of the name of a CIA operative, Valerie Plame, appears to offer no particular indication that Ms. Plame's role at the agency was classified or covert.
