The OJ mentality is pretty common in McKinney's district. There probabily aren't enough "decent DeKalb county residents" to do it.

What a shame...but I live in Fulton County and we had...Maynard Jackson and Bill Campbell...at least they weren't overt racists.

Jim McDermott in Seattle is basically in the same position - it doesn't matter a whit what he does, legal or illegal. He's reelected in landslides every election.
