Well, I rather agree with you. He's a long-time Trotskyite Marxist, and I don't think he's ever renounced that, and a big admirer of Noam Chomsky, and he despises Christianity. I think he's become muddled in his middle age (perhaps its his liver), but he's always interesting to read or listen to.
