And that's so true. I counted 4 or 5 lies out of Kerry's and Matthews' mouth before my eyes started to glaze over. It was softball after softball and lie after lie.
But the big DUmmie funny was Kerry saying "less meaningless" when he meant "more" meaningless. BWAHAHAHAAAA!!!

Absolutely critical. AND...get that hideous "Dream Act" out of this thing.
Regardless of which legislation is passed, his concerns simply must be addressed. You cannot sweep the corruption and graft that occurs without fixing the basic problems. I have nothing wrong with the basic principles around the 3 tiered aliens--although I do agree that the proof standards are going to be difficult to enforce (the idea that someone here for a long time should have a clearer path (all other things being equal like no criminal activity, security threat etc)...is right). But these immigration judges and money issues and the total LACK of a fix to BICE needs to be addressed.
Oh, and the ticking time bomb of having to pay all of the now legal illegals the earned income tax credit must be addressed.
It should have never been there from the start. I agree that Border Security should be first...but how then can I get assurances that the reforms to the basic immigration problem and BICE and the people who are here will get done? The Dimmies in ONE day showed they can't be trusted. SO ... I do believe you need a comprehensive solution.

Tony you ARE right here. But I don't think you can address the problem in pieces. Because each side will pass the piece it wants and won't give a rats rear end about the rest. The reason these darn omnibus bills come in is because on an issue that has a lot of moving parts, you need a comprehensive solution. NO ONE will pay for BICE reform unless it is attached to the "big fix".
