School Superintendent Mark Masterson told NewsCenter 5 there was a "dispute of the facts between a hug and a lifting of a child off the floor."

If this was the case, then maybe that should have been addressed in the punishment and the note? If not, then what the teacher/school engaged in was simply abusive. Even worse than the stupidity I first thought they were executing.

Sick beyond belief. The parents did the right thing: pull the kid out of school and go somewhere else. Move out of state if you have to. This must not be tolerated any longer.

It warms my heart every day when I pick up my 4 year old from day care. There's always hugs with his buddies before he goes home.

Then he goes home and watches "Predator", "King Kong" or some other action movie. When it's time to wind down in the evening, we'll pull out a book and read it to him.

I took him to see "Ice Age 2" last week. We both enjoyed it immensely. We're making a return trip this weekend.

In NJ two little six year olds were taken to the police station to await pick up by their parents after pointing chicken fingers at each other in the cafeteria. They were pretending to shoot.
