I am stunned and amazed. A writer for the CJR actually gets it. He's aggravated that the press has covered this non-story too much. And he's right. He's figured out that part of the MSM's problem is they think the story's all about them instead of the news...

Ummm, except the writer said she'd do a fine job, and that See BS will get a ratings bump. These are the dying gasps of CBS News - they know Katie as a rabid partisan and are trying to cling to the leftist market share. Like leftists, their numbers are dwindling. They could use some management talent over there at CBS.

So let me see if I got this straight: The MSM thinks the fact that a fawning, leftist, bloviating fool leaving a job at one leftist "news" outlet and moving to another where she will continue to be a fawning, leftist, bloviating fool is newsworthy, is that it!!??
Wow!! I'm not missing much by not watching any of this crapola on TV, am I?

IMO CBS just tossed a lot of money down the toilet. They should have thrown Katie in too.

Hey, he's on to something.. The Today Show should pick up Britney Spears or, maybe Paris Hilton.

Now CBS can enjoy her awkward flirting during interviews. Lucky them!

Katie's forst assignment will be to conclude, once for all, whether or not Bush won Ohio.

At a salary of $11,000,000 a year, she will get about about $50,000 per edition of the CBS Evening News depending on how many shows she hosts. You could hire 200 new journalists at $50,000 per year with the same money and still have enough left over to pay a new "anchor" (which is an outmoded concept in and of itself) close to $1,000,000 a year. They could even hire 100 more at $100,000 a year.

Ah Katie 'Caustic'. The only good part about this self serving 'reader' of the news is her signing off from the 'CBS News' (Couric BS that is).

Glad to see CBS finally got real journalist.
