In short, the Republicans were more effective promoting and passing the conservative agenda when they didn't control the House, Senate, and Presidency

Passing the Conservative Agenda? Watered down Welfare Reform? NO tax cuts? No Soc Secu reform even discussed. Doubled spending on Domestic Issues while reducing Defense spending by 2/3s? Clinton OWNED the Republican Congress. They did NOTHING. Kid yourself all you want but we go the image of, but not the substance of, anything under Clinton.

To claim any difference either demonstrated a rabid ignorance of the facts or a knowing effort to spread DNC propaganda here on Freeper.

My vote in the next election is going to be used to fire the current incompetent employees!

Your vote in the next election is going to be exactly what your DNC paymasters demand of you. Actively spreading Hate Republican Propaganda is to ally yourself willingly with the DNC. Spare us the grandstanding. You are merely a DNC mouthpiece actively doing what your paymasters tell you do do "infiltrate Republican Websites and spread dissension".

Just another stooge in Deans "Virtual Campaign". We recognize the same old Democrat Party Talking Points you are spewing. We see it every election cycle when you stooges suddenly come back to Freeper screaming your DNC propaganda against Republicans. If you have to lie about your political agenda like this, you have all ready lost the debate.

MNJonnie - please use some rational arguments. The Republicans have sold out their conservative base and we are upset about it. This is not an unreasonable response to their performance. To think that anyone upset with them must be on the DNC payroll is delusional. Name calling and wild ass conspiracy theories are the domain of the left, the right use facts and points; try it - it works!

I disagree. My first assumption is that no election is more important that than last. If Democrats win, it really is not going to make that much of a difference (the SC is an exception). It might take two or three election cycles to get good people, but it is worth it.

The other point I'd like to make is I don't want Democrats to take the House, Senate, and Presidency. I do want them to take one of them because one party in control of all three has been nothing short of a disaster.

Looks like you already blew your argument. :-) SC is a reason by itself to vote Republican for the Presidency. Chairmanships is a reason by itself to vote R for members of Congress. Look at each committee and examine who would be running those committees if dems were in charge. If Pelosi were in charge of the House there would be impeachment hearings right now.

So your statements make no logical sense in the real world.

Pelosi having impeachment hearings would be the best thing that could happen to the Republican party.

The SC has four very conservative members and one who leans right. They are all in good health - the SC battle has been won. I also think that Bush will get the opportunity to nominate one more justice (let's hope and pray he doesn't screw it up).

I don't see the Dems being able to take the senate in any scenario. They have a reasonable shot at taking the house. I don't think it will have a huge impact to America if the Dems take the house - I can't imagine they could spend any more than what the Republicans are!

What a great comeback. However, you are right; I'm a DU plant on the payroll of the DNC. I concede this argument as your superior intellect is just too much for me.

I think you mistook my message. Look at the reaction to Fiengolds call for censure. The public knows it it a bunch of political BS and the Dems are running scared because of it. The same thing would happen if impeachment hearings were held. There would be a huge backlash that would only benefit the Republican party.

Froth on Al. You fool no one here. Merely screaming DNC Talking Points over and over and over may make you feel better. The rest of us can see right thru you.
